Gear6 Cloud Cache Server is a 100% Memcached compatible sever that delivers dramatically higher memory efficiency. Additionally, Gear6 Cloud Cache Server is the only Memcached service for the cloud that can leverage cloud-based storage to increase cache depth by several orders of magnitude.

1. You'll need an account at GoGrid. If you don't have one you can create it here: http://www.gogrid.com/signUp

2. Sign in to the GoGrid Management console at http://my.gogrid.com

3. Click add a server (+)

4. Find all Gear6 GoGrid Server Images by filling in the filter field with "Gear6" string. Choose either 32-Bit or 64-bit and and press Next.

5. Enter the name for your server, choose one of the available public IP addreses, choose your memory size and click Save. To see a list of how much total memory is available with each image click here

6. Wait until your server is ready. GoGrid server deployment can take up to 15min.

7. Open your web browser, type in the IP address you selected in step 6, The Gear6 Cloud Cache server is now ready for use. Clients can connect via the IP selected in steps 5 on port 11211
