Job Summary:

Based in Mountain View, California, this position will be responsible for the creation and implementation of test scripts and processes for the Company’s hardware products; assisting in the documentation of production processes; assisting with production prototyping and supporting manufacturing operations activities on an ad hoc basis. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who jumps in and gets the important stuff done while relishing the challenging and fun start-up environment.

This position reports to the Operations Manager

Responsibilities:

• Test support for new and existing hardware designs.
• Write test plans based on product specifications.
• Develop automated test scripts for functional test, install and burn-in.
• Drive cost reduction by value engineering current test process.
• Work with contract manufacturers regarding test process issues, including process readiness and on going issue resolution.
• Monitor test capacity and yields.
• Some travel required.

Candidate Profile:

• BS/MS in EE, CS or equivalent.
• Recent 5+ years manufacturing test development experience in x86 server and networking industry.
• Familiarity with Linux and Perl
• Ability to communicate manufacturing test requirements into design layout requirements.
• Extensive test software scripting experience
• Knowledge of network switch configurations.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
