
Job Summary:
As a Gear6 North America Channel Manager, you are responsible for enabling our Business Partners. This position requires the ability to identify, train and motivate our business partners and their customers.
Essential Functions:
The responsibility of the North America Channel Manager is to work directly with Business Partners and customers to capture sales opportunities; and to work effectively across functions with other Gear6 employees. Your focus is on several identified channel partners, new channel partners and new enterprise clients.
Use relationship management techniques to develop selling opportunities within partner organizations; penetrate new divisions and organizations within assigned partner account; develop new selling relationships within assigned partner account; develop new direct selling opportunities.
Schedule and attend sales call appointments with a prospect in partner organization. Utilizing a consultative approach, discuss business issues with prospect and develop a formal quote, a written sales proposal or a formal sales presentation addressing their business needs.
Requirements:
Education:
BA degree in a technical discipline or equivalent preferred.
